Safety Information
All non-emergency use of the Escape Chute, i.e. training and servicing. It is preferred to have a responsible person at the base of the Chute to assist the evacuation. Chutes are inspected pre-shift and serviced quarterly.
Step 1
The deployment system is not to be in the deployed position whilst the machine is operating.
Step 2
NEVER enter the chute headfirst. Enter feet first and lower yourself into the chute slowly.
Step 3
Long pants and long sleeve shirts are the recommended clothing to avoid potential minor friction burns.
Step 4
The Chute sleeve should not be stored wet and should not be left exposed to sunlight for extended periods.
